 | BM Nyman & Co is a niche firm of solicitors, established by me, Bernie Nyman, on 1 January 1999, dedicated to my specialist areas of work :
* Publishing, concentrating particularly on drafting and negotiating publishing contracts, both for publishers and authors, and also for literary agents in dealing with contracts outside of their primary area of experience
* Intellectual Property - especially copyright, trade marks and confidentiality
* Defamation - primarily clearing material for publication with particular regard to defamation risks.
Since qualifying in 1979, the firm have specialised in publishing,it's a one-person specialist firm, able to offer a cost-effective service to clients both large and small, and the firm appreciate that all clients -- irrespective of their size or reputation -- are important.
The firm offer personal attention and the assurance that their work will be carried out by myself and not delegated to a junior assistant (as often happens in larger firms). Furthermore, the firm retained contact with former colleagues, and therefore the resources of a substantial full service law firm to call upon or to recommend to my clients as and when necessary.
