The company's origin dates back to when Benjamin Chadwick opened his first office in Dewsbury in the 1840's. At this time he could not have foreseen how his practice would go from strength to strength.
In 2002 the firm now has six offices covering the West Yorkshire region. With thirteen partners and more than forty other solicitors and fee earners employed, the practice is now listed as one of the twenty largest firms in Yorkshire and Humberside.
All are experienced in their own particular areas of the law, and are able to provide prompt and personal advice and attention when you or your business needs it most.
Despite being high street based, the firm is now largely departmentalised. Aside from the traditional departments such as Family or Conveyancing offering a personal service, Chadwick Lawrence also has dedicated Commercial and Employment Departments, and is one of the few in the area to have Departments specialising with Medical Negligence and Civil Liberties, both backed by Legal Aid Franchises.
