Chris is the firm's Finance Director and is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of financial control and management are aligned with the firm's wider strategic business objectives. This includes ensuring that the underlying financial support structures provide the business with the information required to take the decisions necessary to meet its goals and that those structures are organised as efficiently as possible.
Chris is a Chartered Accountant having qualified with Deloitte & Touche in 1991. During 12 years at Deloitte's (including 2 years in Washington DC), he worked with numerous clients as a fee earner including WH Smith, Procter & Gamble and Trinity Mirror. He left Deloitte's in 2000 to become Finance Director of an AIM listed media monitoring business and immediately prior to joining Shoosmiths in April 2006 was Finance Director of Cluttons LLP, chartered surveyors.
