Christopher commenced his legal career with Pitmans as a trainee solicitor in 1977. On qualification he joined the firm's Commercial Property Department, where he was soon made a partner in 1983. Christopher had extensive experience in advising commercial clients on all areas of commercial property and was well acquainted with the needs of commercial users, developers and investors. In 1990 he was promoted to Managing Partner, ceasing fee earning to concentrate on strategic development of the firm to its current position as a key player in the premier league of national and local commercial law firms represented in the Thames Valley. Under Christopher's leadership, Pitmans continues to expand into new areas of commercial law and further to develop its European and US networks.
