Cocks Macnish was established in 1981 by Graeme Macnish and Timothy Cocks, both partners having considerable experience in the maritime, general insurance and commercial litigation fields.
The firm was established specifically to cater for clients in the shipping, insurance and related commercial fields.
The firm prides itself in the level of close coordination between the firm and its clients. Each of the partners has an ongoing personal contact with all their clients. Each partner has immediate access to three employed solicitors and an articled clerk, whom, apart from the most recently admitted solicitor and the articled clerk, have considerable experience in maritime and insurance generated litigation.
