David Billings heads the investment funds practice group in London, focusing principally on the representation of private investment funds and their sponsors.
For the past decade, Mr. Billings has advised both established and emerging managers in organizing and operating hedge funds and other alternative investment funds, including in the areas of private equity, distressed debt, emerging markets, real estate and fund of funds. He has extensive experience in the laws and regulations applicable to private investment funds in the United States, England and numerous other jurisdictions, and regularly counsels financial institutions and other fund sponsors regarding securities law compliance and other corporate matters. |
