David Gray Solicitors was started in 1979 when David Gray left the Newcastle Law Centre and set up in practice in a small office on Grainger Street. The firm has now grown to be the largest single site practice specialising in publicly funded law in the North East.

Someone who specialises in that area of law, rather than being a "jack of all trades”. Their expertise, size and structure enable them to offer a highly personal service at very competitive rates.

They were one of the very first firms in the North East to be granted Community Legal Service (previously known as Legal Aid) Franchises and now hold Legal Service Commission Specialist Quality Mark Status in all of the areas of publicly funded law undertaken.
