 | Eatons have been around for a long time.
First established in 1887,they are one of the oldest solicitors’ practices in the country. Their premises are older still, built in 1826 as the Bradford Dispensary, providing care for the city’s poor on what was then the outskirts of the growing city. The dispensary moved to a larger site and became the Bradford Royal Infirmary, while their building subsequently became the Bradford Library.
When the library closed down in 1981, Eatons took over and refurbished the building, creating a unique working environment. So far as they are aware, they are the only practice in existence with a deed store in what was once a mortuary! In the passing decades since Eatons was founded, Bradford has expanded, placing their building at the heart of the city centre.
Despite their high profile and long history, they pride their selves on being the most approachable firm in the business. In every case, from the simplest lease to corporate takeovers, their first task is to listen. Advice that leaves you baffled is poor advice, they prefer a more straightforward approach. |
