Ellie is a Partner in the family law department and deals with all areas of family law. She specialises in financial provision, particularly in high-value cases, often involving offshore or trust aspects.
She is extremely highly regarded in her field and recognised as a "leading individual" by Chambers. Over the years she has acted for numerous high profile clients from film, TV, journalism, music and sport including several Chelsea footballers. She also acts for many City based clients and professionals.
As well as her high profile work she has acted for alcoholics and spouses of alcoholics and she continues to undertake a lot of children’s work, for both married and unmarried partners and for both mothers and fathers. She was one of the first solicitors in the country to qualify as a mediator.

Ellie has had a long and varied career since graduating from University College London in 1968. Most recently she headed the family department at Barnett Sampson until the department merged with Anthony Gold in 2004 |
