 | Harold Benjamin applies progressive, innovative and dynamic thinking to meet the requirements of new and existing clients. The firm takes an active interest in the development of its clients and delivers the high quality level of legal services and approachability which has been and remains the hallmark of Harold Benjamin.
The firm was founded in 1953 as a commercial practice based in the City of London acting primarily for commercial and property development clients, and was known as Harold Benjamin & Collins until April 2000.
The firm expanded and by the late 1970's had established offices in Harrow, South Harrow, Ruislip and Highgate. It became apparent that the specialist needs of the firm's clients would be best served from a single location and in 1990 the firm centralised its offices in north west London.
In the late 1990's the firm took in by way of merger the commercial practice of Tomkins Boddy & Co and the property development practice of Cawthorns. Then in 2000 the firm was joined by Littlejohn & Co giving further strength and depth to the Litigation Department. The firm has continued to expand through recruitment in the Corporate, Commercial and Private Client Departments.
