 | Jacklyn Dawson are a long established Newport firm. They can trace their roots back to the firms of Liscombe & Dawson and H. Meyrick Williams, who practised in the Newport area in the earlier part of the last century. In 1963 both firms merged to form the firm of Jacklyn Dawson & Meyrick Williams. At around the same time this new practice moved to its current offices at Equity Chambers in the centre of Newport.
In October 2004 we merged with long established and respected Monmouth solicitors Kenneth Hurley & Co. The move brought together two practices with long histories in the provision of legal services in Monmouth and the surrounding county. The practice in Monmouth is named Jacklyn Dawson Hurley and continues to operate from offices at 6, Priory Street, Monmouth.
The firm currently has six partners. They have fifteen solicitors in all and approximately twenty support staff. They are therefore large enough to be able to provide specialization in a wide range of legal matters without being so big that they lose sight of the need to provide a friendly and personal service to their private and business clients alike. |
