Joydeep holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Sydney, where he previously completed his Bachelor of Arts degree and Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours.As Staff Partner at Harmers saw the firm win the Institute’s Award for Excellence in People Management in NSW.
Joydeep regularly presents seminar papers and has been widely published on employee relations issues. Author of the book Inside Employee Screening and an Editorial Board member for CCH’s Employment and Safety publications, Joydeep was a speaker at the Recruitment & Consulting Services Association’s International Conference in 2001, and at the HR Summit 2004, and is widely regarded as an informative and entertaining presenter on workplace relations legal matters. Due to his expertise in presentations, he regularly conducts management training sessions for leading Australian businesses as well as prominent public sector employers. He has developed a training module for line managers on aspects of employment law that is unique and forms a part of many companies’ training programs.
