Career :	June heads up the Business Development team and as such is responsible for managing this team so that they help the firm grow its business in line with strategy. June has spent over 25 years in professional services and brings this expertise to her current role as Marketing Director for Shoosmiths. She started her career as a chartered accountant with KPMG and having spent 11 years as a fee earner decided to branch out into other avenues. She spent a period of time in training and development and then managed recruitment of staff at all levels for KPMG in the Midlands, including personality profiling and designing and running assessment centres for graduates. Her last 5 years at KPMG was as Business Development Director where she focused on sales and competitive tenders. She then moved into legal services taking up the position of Marketing Director for Wragge & Co. Here she concentrated on driving forward their sales and targeting with great success. Her previous roles in accountancy and training bring a commercial approach to her marketing and enable her to coach partners to develop business in a sensitive and practical manner. She moved to Shoosmiths as Marketing Director in November 2004 and is currently focusing on business development and client care.
