 | Livingstone Brown is a leading firm of Scottish solicitors. Based in Glasgow, but dealing with cases around the country, the firm has been at the forefront of legal service provision for over twenty five years. Led by senior partner Gerard Brown CBE, the firm has built up an enviable reputation for quality of service and client care. David McGlashan, a partner based at the firm's head office, was named Solicitor of the Year at the Law Awards of Scotland 2005, for "treating his clients with the respect they deserve." This follows an award for the firm's IT systems in 2004.
Livingstone Brown was established over twenty five years ago by Gerard Brown, the firm's current senior partner, and Robert Livingstone (who retired from the firm five years ago, and is now an advocate). Initially the firm had one office and a handful of administrative staff. Over time, the firm has grown into one of Scotland's largest, with six offices and almost twenty lawyers.
