In 1980, Michael got qualified at Harold Chaffe & Co. and in 1985 he got appointed as a partner at Harold Chaffe & Co. Michael was a Senior Crown Prosecutor with the Crown Prosecution Service in 1986 and from 1989 he joined Burton Copeland in corporate Fraud Department where in 1990, he got appointed as a Partner. Michael specialises in commercial Fraud and Business Crime including increasing specialisation in tax controversy cases. Apart from conducting the defence in a number of major cases, in the last six years Michael has acted for several international companies across Europe in connection with VAT and Excise duty issues. He also has acted for numerous solicitors charged with various types of fraud. |
