Mike is managing partner with responsibility for the firm’s clients nationally; he was appointed to the role on 1 July 2005.
Mike joined Freehills 15 years ago in the then Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) team. Prior to joining Freehills, Mike spent four and a half years in investment banking as a corporate adviser and gained considerable experience in the commercial and financing aspects of conducting large transactions. Preceding this he worked for four years at a large law firm.
Over the years at Freehills, Mike has taken on various management and leadership roles. He assisted in the integration of a number of practice groups to create the national Corporate group and facilitated the consolidation and success of the Melbourne Corporate team. |
