Career :	Nigel spent ten years as a commercial litigation lawyer in the City of London from where he was recruited in 1998. His background is at the heavyweight end of contentious work, both seeking and resisting the more draconian awards and remedies at the court's disposal, encompassing in particular detection and prosecution of corporate frauds and accounting irregularities for financial institutions and takeover and merger disputes. The largest part of the remainder of his work protects the tangible and intellectual property of major manufacturing and importing concerns. Since joining the firm Nigel has continued to handle a wide range of contract and fraud work, particularly in the high technology sector. He was appointed head of Commercial Litigation in 2001 from where he continues to represent the firm's business clients in a number of complex and on occasion high profile disputes.
Leisure Activities :	Nigel’s leisure interests include golf, running and the opera in addition to which he is governor of a Sixth Form College.
