Philip Curtis entered the patent profession in 1981, qualifying as a Patent Attorney in 1985. He joined A.A.Thornton & Co. in 1995 and has been a partner since 1997. He specialises in patent prosecution and advice in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. Within his practice, he has drafted and prosecuted patent applications relating to new chemical entities, chemical processes and pharmaceuticals. He also has many years' experience in preparing validity and infringement opinions, especially in relation to pharmaceuticals.
