Joining the firm in October 2004, Richard Walden heads the Human Resources team, whose objective is to devise and implement HR strategies and policies that are consistent with supporting the firm in achieving its strategic business plans. Richard has extensive human resources experience from his previous roles. He was previously Human Resources Director in the UK for CB Richard Ellis, the global property adviser and consultancy firm. In June 2004 Richard won the HR Excellence Award for best HR contribution to a merger or acquisition. Prior to that Richard held senior HR positions with NatWest Consultancy and Nationwide Building Society and Richard's early career began in Personnel within Harris Queensway PLC and Sears PLC. |

In the free time Richard tries to keep fit by running up and down the hills of Ashdown Forest, he is usually accompanied, somewhat reluctantly, by his dog, who prefers a more sedate walk. He also enjoys holiday travel, photography and reading history (usually 1st and 2nd World War). |
