The firm has its origins in 1905 when Henry Stephen Shacklock founded his own firm in North Nottinghamshire. Since that time they have developed and grown into one of the best known names in legal circles in the East Midlands. The firm's reputation for quality was underlined by receiving accreditation under the Law Society’s Quality Accreditation System recognising the practice management standards in 2005.
