Born and bred in Shropshire, Terry is the Managing Director of Terry Jones
Solicitors & Advocates. Following qualification in 1975 Terry became a
partner of Messrs Gwynnes Solicitors in 1977 and remained with the firm
until 2000.
The need for change within the legal profession saw Terry acquire the firm's
Shrewsbury office from which the firm has evolved and which now employs some
100 staff who are variously deployed in specific disciplines within the
practice.
Throughout his career Terry has gained experience in all aspects of law,
specialising particularly in the areas of Criminal and Commercial Law.
As a Criminal Lawyer Terry has gained vast experience and holds Higher
Rights of Audience to appear before all criminal courts in England and
Wales. He is a Consultant to the Legal Services Commission and the Chairman
of the local area Duty Solicitor Scheme. |
