We are pleased to announce that Andrew Renton has joined Bird & Bird’s International Energy & Utilities Sector Group as partner. Andrew comes to us from Dundas & Wilson, where he headed their energy sector group and infrastructure practice area.

Andrew began his career as a civil engineer working on gas injection, water treatment, process engineering and infrastructure in UK and the Middle East before training as a lawyer. His commercial understanding has since served his clients well and his experience of developing energy sector groups will benefit our rapidly developing team.

This year our International Energy & Utilities Sector Group has welcomed partners Matt Bonass and Michael Rudd in London, Matthias Lang in Dusseldorf and Hermenegildo Altozano in Madrid. Last month Helen Loose also joined us in London as senior European consultant.
