Ashton Morton Slack continues to grow in 2007. Having just announced the expansion of its well-respected family team, the firm are delighted to have recruited Law Society Children Panel member Rachel Roebuck.
Miss Roebuck has 25 years experience in family law and is also an accredited member of Resolution. She also sits as a Deputy District Judge on the North Eastern circuit. Miss Roebuck will be heading the firm’s Children Team, which already includes two Children Panel members Elizabeth Rodgers and Robin Williams, and will be assisted by Louise Whitham who has recently been recruited as a Litigation Assistant to support the busy team.
Miss Roebuck comments;
“I have known the Partners and many of the staff at Ashton Morton Slack for a long time and have always found them friendly, well organised and professional and therefore had a keen interest in working for the firm.”
Stephen Williams, Head of Private Client commented;
“Rachel is a welcome addition to our Family and Childcare team, she has extensive experience in this field and it is wonderful that Ashton Morton Slack now have an established childcare team to complement the work of Ann and the Matrimonial Team allowing us to offer a range of services to suit all our clients needs.”
Ann Humes, Partner will continue to manage the Matrimonial Team specialising in divorce, ancillary relief and complex financial matters arising from the breakdown of a relationship.
These new appointments come hot on the heels of the recent expansion of the firm’s Business Team. Newly qualified solicitors Michael Doherty and Liam Kenealy who both completed their training contracts with Ashton Morton Slack have chosen to continue their legal careers with the business team. These are certainly exciting times for one of Sheffield’s largest law firms.
