ProHelp Manager nominates Bakewells Solicitors for Pro-bono Award at the Business in the Community annual awards event.

Every year Business in the Community holds an annual awards event to ‘showcase’ their member companies and to celebrate some of the good work that is being done across the region.

The pro-bono award is sponsored by Shoosmiths solicitors. Each ProHelp Manager chooses one member firm from each group to nominate, whom they believe is an outstanding contributor to ProHelp in their area, Shoosmiths then choose the winner.

Ann Hilton, ProHelp Manager for Business in the Community has nominated Bakewells Solicitors for their outstanding contribution towards ProHelp projects in and around Derbyshire. Martin Jinks said that he was ‘dead chuffed at the nomination’! Should Bakewells be chosen as a winner, the firm will be invited to attend the awards gala dinner event to collect the award.

The East Midlands Awards for Excellence gala dinner, sponsored by Experian, will take place on 3 June 2009 at the Trent Vineyard, Easter Park, Lenton Lane, Nottingham NG7 2PX and promises to be an event to remember.
