On 1 April 2007 Louis Pittortou, James Peel, Katie Oliver and Mark Gibson became Partners of Barker Brettell. Louis and Katie are Trade Mark Attorneys experienced at working with clients of varying sizes and business interests. James and Mark are Patent Attorneys specialising in the fields of chemistry and pharmaceuticals respectively.

Also on 1 April 2007, Andrew Locke, Rosalyn Newsome and Binesh Patel became Associates of the firm. Rosalyn is a Trade Mark Attorney experienced in all types of trade mark work. Andrew and Binesh are Patent Attorneys. Andrew works in the field of mechanical engineering and Binesh is involved in the areas of physics and electronics.

Additionally, Julia House has joined the firm as a Trade Mark Attorney based at our Birmingham office. Julia has a wealth of experience gained from her years at Unilever, Allied Domecq and Wragge & Co.
