CMS Cameron McKenna LLP’s head office has won the City of London Corporation Clean City Platinum Award for the third successive year.
The award is given to organisations that demonstrate a commitment to recycling and environmental issues, and in doing so, support the City of London to achieve a cleaner environment through good waste management. The firm was also commended for its internal staff promotion and communication of green issues.
There are over 1700 sites participating in the Clean City Awards Scheme; each site is assessed on waste management and waste minimisation practices in place, along with their reuse and recycling programmes.

This award highlights our efforts to reduce our impact on the environment. We are always looking for new ways in which we can be efficient, as shown by our new initiatives undertaken in the last year.”
Some key initiatives undertaken by the firm’s head office in the last year include ensuring 100 percent of the energy purchased is from renewable sources, and saving over one million litres of water per annum as a result of reduction measures. In addition the office does not send any waste to landfill, all waste is recycled or incinerated.
