Leading law firm Dickinson Dees has strengthened its pensions team in Yorkshire with the appointment of solicitor Tamsin Bush.
Tamsin was educated at the Manor School in York and York College, before studying law at Cambridge University and graduating in June 2004.
She began her training at magic circle firm Clifford Chance in August 2005, qualifying into the Pensions Department in August 2007.
Speaking of her appointment, Tamsin commented: “I was keen to join the Dickinson Dees team because of its strong reputation nationally in the sector and the friendly and supportive atmosphere at the firm.
“I am looking forward to joining the firm and I’m keen to become involved in the interesting and challenging work carried out by the pensions team. I’m anxious to meet and assist the various clients of the firm and to get settled back into life in Yorkshire.”
John Marshall, senior partner at Dickinson Dees commented: “We are delighted to confirm Tamsin’s appointment to join our expanding team in Yorkshire which has gone from strength to strength in recent times. Tamsin has moved from London’s Clifford Chance, the country’s highest profile law firm, which underlines the high esteem in which our pensions team is held in the sector.”
The pensions team at Dickinson Dees works with a number of high profile clients nationally, such as Taylor Wimpey and the Go-Ahead Group, and is currently exceptionally busy. Tamsin will be joining the team in York alongside newly promoted Kate Buckham (director) and solicitor, Paul Jackson.
“Tamsin’s appointment highlights our commitment to servicing the pensions marketplace not only in Yorkshire and Humber, but nationally too and we look forward to welcoming her into the team in September,” concluded Mr Marshall.
