Black Country law firm George Green has expanded its corporate and commercial department with the appointment of a new Assistant Solicitor and the promotion of an existing team member.

Diljinder Sekhon joins George Green as a specialist corporate solicitor, while Clare Martin becomes an Associate in the department, which, at eight strong, is the largest dedicated corporate and commercial legal team based in the Black Country.

Mr Sekhon moves to George Green from Mills & Reeve. He is a (non-practising) barrister and has experience of advocacy. He will work closely with corporate partners Richard Cliff, Paul Bennett and Matt Hyland on company mergers, acquisitions and disposals.

A corporate specialist, Mrs Martin joined George Green in 2005. Her promotion reflects the increasingly important role which she is playing in the corporate and commercial team.
