Leading law firm, Hill Dickinson, has appointed Tim Littler as partner in its banking and finance team, based at the firm’s Sheffield office. Tim was formerly a partner at DLA Piper in Leeds, setting up the firm’s banking and finance team in Sheffield in 2006, before returning to Leeds in 2008 as a partner in the Restructuring Group.
Tim specialises in acting for lenders and corporates on the negotiation of facility and security documents - for both bilateral and syndicated real estate investment and development facilities, leveraged finance and MBO deals.
Neil Thompson, partner and head of the Sheffield office, commented: “Tim’s appointment illustrates our dedication to further developing our banking and finance offering in Sheffield. This is a strategic appointment and Tim brings not only a wealth of experience but also specialised local knowledge and great contacts. We very much look forward to working with him.”
Tim commented: “I am looking forward to helping build the Hill Dickinson brand in the Yorkshire region. The firm already has well recognised banking expertise and I will take a very active role in promoting the skills and services that the firm can offer both locally and nationally.”
