We are delighted to announce that on 12 September 2011 we merged with the long-established Chorley firm of Kevill Kirkham & Grayson, who are based at High Street Chambers, High Street, Chorley.
Although now part of the Birchall Blackburn group, the name of Kevill Kirkham & Grayson will be retained for the High Street Chambers office in recognition of the high esteem with which that practice is regarded in the town.
As well as strengthening our position as one of the North West's leading law firms, for existing clients of Kevill Kirkham & Grayson this offers an opportunity for greater access to a wide range of legal services through a business they know and trust.
We are pleased to welcome to the firm former partner Neil Saunt (Residential and Commercial Conveyancing) and Richard Grayson (Private Client), who will remain with the practice. They are joined by Kath, Laura and Lindsay and we look forward to working with them.
We also welcome Rosemary Johns to the firm. Rosemary, a solicitor who specialises in Private Client work, will also be based at the new High Street Chambers office.
Although she joins us from Irwin Mitchell in Manchester, Rosemary is well known to us - she previously worked for Birchall Blackburn at the Preston office. The decision to renew that relationship is a sign of the regard we have for each other and our mutual confidence as to the future of the practice.
