Stephensons Solicitors LLP is hosting a free seminar on behalf of Bolton Incorporated Law Society’s Junior Lawyers Division on money-laundering.
Philip Swaine of the Landmark Information Group is the guest speaker at the session, which is open to all solicitor members and non members in and around Bolton.
Kate Bullen, an Associate solicitor at Stephensons, is a committee member of the group. She said: “Professional criminals often seek to use the financial system to launder their illegal funds. This seminar is a must-attend event. It will provide an essential update on the regulations surrounding money laundering, and give advice on how solicitors can protect themselves from prosecution if they fail to identify criminal activity.
"Places are limited so we would urge people to confirm attendance as soon as possible."
