South West solicitors Foot Anstey has won a place on the prestigious Treasury Solicitor’s Department’s new litigation panel - the Lit Cat panel.
Selected from 150 firms nationwide, Foot Anstey will advise on employment and regulatory litigation matters for the next three years.
Patrick Howarth head of the employment team at Foot Anstey said: “We are delighted to be part of the panel. Our appointment reflects the quality and strength of our team of 17 employment specialists who will work on a variety of employment issues including employment tribunal cases.
“Our team is the biggest employment team in the South West and winning a place on this panel is a significant step in the continued growth of our public sector practice.
“It demonstrates again our ability to win work from organisations based outside the South West who are looking to obtain the best value for money from their professional advisers, without compromising on quality.”
Nigel Lyons will lead Foot Anstey’s regulatory team advising the Treasury Solicitors in-house legal staff and will be available to advise other government departments as well.
Foot Anstey is one of 40 firms nationally to be appointed to the panel, dealing with different elements of work in different locations.
