Cheltenham law firm BPE Solicitors has strengthened its private client team with the appointment of Partner Malcolm Gibbs. Malcolm has over two decades worth of experience helping people manage and protect their wealth, working for law firms in the South West. He joins BPE from Bath-based Mowbray Woodwards.
Malcolm is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Law Society Probate section and Solicitors for the Elderly.
“We are delighted to have attracted such an experienced, high calibre private client expert to join the team. Demand for our private client services continues to grow. Malcolm’s skills and experience complement those of Sophie Endersby, our existing private client partner, and I am confident that, as a team, they will continue to attract new clients in the local market,” said BPE’s Senior Partner John Workman.
Commenting on his decision to join BPE Malcolm said: “Sophie and her team have done a magnificent job in helping BPE’s successful business clients start to think about protecting their own personal wealth. I am excited at the prospect at playing my part in developing the team and growing the firm’s reputation for providing first class private client advice.”
Outside work Malcolm enjoys walking, wine and watching rugby.
With Malcolm’s appointment, BPE now has 25 partners – with four lateral hires appointed in the past 12 months.
“We have ambitious growth plans in the South West and will continue to seek out high calibre solicitors and support staff to join our team. Our informal culture, impressive client list and quality work continues to attract first class staff,” said John Workman.
