Albion Chambers is delighted to announce that two members of chambers, Charles Hyde (Family team) and Michael Fitton (Head of Crime team) have been appointed to become Queen’s Counsel, with effect from 16th October 2006. Our members and administration team congratulate Charles and Michael on their well-deserved success. These appointments are amongst the first to have been made since 2003, under a new system devised jointly by the Bar Council, the Law Society and the Department of Constitutional Affairs. The scheme is run by an independent body, Queen’s Counsel Appointments. More information can be found at: www.qcapplications.org.uk
