Salans will provide legal consultancy in the process of acquisition of intermediary services regarding the initial public offering of Natural Gas Company “Romgaz”, following the firm’s selection through tender by the Office of State Ownership and Privatisation in Industry (OPSPI).

The process will cover the preparing stage of the required documentation for the intermediary selection, as well as the monitoring of the the public offering procedure and securities admission to trading on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The legal team on behalf of Salans will be coordinated by Anda Todor, Managing Partner, together with Septimiu Stoica, Of Counsel, both with Salans Bucharest.

Romgaz’s privatisation strategy through public offer has been approved by the Romanian Government Decision no. 831/2010, which stipulates the selling, through initial public offering of a shares stock representing 15% of the company’s equity, administrated by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment.
