Partner Chris Dewes will be a member of a four-strong panel that will discuss How to ensure the optimum outcome for the creditors.
The panel session is part of the leading commercial property magazine’s Distressed Property Forum, at Dartmouth House, London, on 22 September.
Part of the national law firm’s real estate practice group, Dewes will be joined on the panel by Acuitus chairman Richard Auterac and James Rowney, head of West Register Property, RBS Global Restructuring.
Dewes focuses on development, investment and insolvency work, with particular experience relating to hotels, logistics, automotive, mixed use and residential developments. Acting for developers, investors, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners, he has considerable joint venture experience.
The event is expected to attract property companies, investors, real estate investment trusts, banks, consultancies and other law firms.
Speakers will cover a range of issues, including how to achieve positive building workouts for all parties involved with distressed assets, and at what banks want from an investor when considering disposal.
