The legal firm Howes Percival kicks off a six-strong series of free breakfast seminars for businesses in Leicester on Tuesday [January 13 2009] with a crash course in contracts.

All six events – the series is titled Commercially Speaking – are designed to give business owners and managers a 45 minute hit of free practical guidance on how to protect their businesses and assets.

Tuesday’s event features Howes Percival’s top ten tips for contracting with others. Like all six events, it is at Howes Percival’s offices at Bede Island Business Park in Leicester, with registration and breakfast available from 8am ahead of an 8.30am start and a 9.15am finish.

The seminar on Tuesday April 21 is about avoiding litigation – Dispute Resolution: Managing Your Risk and Limiting Your Exposure. Information as an Asset is the title of the penultimate event on Tuesday May 12. Construction Contracts for Difficult Times is the sixth and final event, on Tuesday June 9.
