Will Atkinson, associate, and Emma Hardy, solicitor, have joined the Banking and Financial Services Litigation team (BFSL) from Freshfields and Clarke Willmott respectively.

Their arrival acknowledges the increasing levels of work from both new and existing clients. Will specialises in professional negligence and banking litigation; Emma will focus on litigation services and professional negligence against valuers and solicitors and some contentious insolvency work.

Financial Services is one of TLT's two leading industry sectors and an area of growth for the firm. Clients include those in the retail and wholesale markets, life and pensions companies, banks (both UK and foreign), intermediaries, general insurers and mortgage lenders; for example, Barclays Bank Plc, Lloyds TSB Bank Plc, GMAC-RFC Ltd, Caterpiller Financial Services and Triodos Bank Plc.
