We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new Solicitors – Richard Morgan and John French.
Richard joins our Commercial Department from a Shrewsbury-based practice. His legal career began dealing with commercial and residential mortgage arrears at Birmingham Midshires Building Society.
Richard studied for a law degree at Wolverhampton University, then the Legal Practice Course completing his two-year training contract with a Stafford-based practice. The keen sportsman, who counts cycling and running amongst his hobbies, said: “Band Hatton is a well known firm and has an especially strong Commercial Department, which I am delighted to join."
John joins our Litigation Department, coming from the UK’s largest telephone advisory service First Assist where he dealt with a variety of litigation law issues. He qualified as a barrister aged 25 at Lincoln’s Inn in London before becoming a Solicitor.
Avid cricketer John, who plays for Stoke Golding near Hinckley, said: “I was impressed with Band Hatton from the moment I first entered its offices and am very happy to be joining the firm. The work is interesting and varied and I am sure I will have plenty of opportunity to use the legal knowledge I have gained so far in my career."
