WH’s double success in the CorpINTL 2011 Global awards
Friday 12th August 2011

Wright Hassall was delighted to be recognised for the second year running by CorpINTL magazine in their 2011 global awards.

Following on from success in 2010 - when the firm was recognised as UK Transport Law Firm of the Year - the firm's specialist skills have been recognised as it has been awarded UK Technology Law Firm of the Year 2011 and UK Corporate Immigration Law Firm of the Year 2011.

Working with technology suppliers and organisations procuring technology, the Technology Team, led by Lindsay Ellis, has a strong track record in advising on outsourcing transactions including BPO, call centre, HR, off-shoring, and technology procurement across a wide variety of sectors. A number of large corporates with very high service level requirements have chosen to work with the team because of the consistently high quality service and the expertise that they deliver.

Marian Dixon's business immigration team understands the workings and procedures of the UK immigration service combined with a detailed knowledge of the legal technicalities relating to immigration law. They support corporates in bringing employees into the UK under the new points based system and can advise employers on what measures they need to adopt to help prevent them employing those not eligible to work in the UK, avoiding a potential Civil Penalty of up to £10,000 per illegal worker.
