DLA Piper's Global Chief People Officer, Robert Halton, has been ranked at number 55 in HR Magazine's 'Top 100 Most Influential' list. This is the second time that Robert has been ranked in the list, and has moved up 29 places from last year where he was placed at 84.
The 'Top 100 Most Influential' list was compiled by HR magazine and was based on its readers' nominations of the HR profession's movers and shakers. Robert joins the likes of HR Directors from Tesco and the Royal Bank of Scotland to sit within the Top 60 most influential HR list.
Robert Halton commented: "It is a great honour to be recognised by ones peers and this reflects the hard work of the HR team and the position of the firm in the commercial arena."
In addition to Robert's ranking as one of the most influential figures in HR, DLA Piper has also been short listed for the international HR award at the HR Magazine's 'HR Excellence Awards 2007.' The awards are due to take place on 2 July at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
