“Perfect sense for both firms….. and above all for our clients”
Tuesday 30th December 2008

Dutton Gregory and Egglestones are celebrating their merger, welcoming Egglestones partners Richard Egglestone, Lorne Campbell and Robert Loughridge along with seven staff into the merged practice.

Peter Lloyd, Chairman of Dutton Gregory, said he was delighted with the move; "Egglestones has an excellent reputation and client base. It has particular strengths in commercial and residential property, employment, personal injury, landlord and tenant, and wills estates and tax planning. Combining the practices will contribute to Dutton Gregory’s existing strength in those areas of work and enhance our regional presence. We are extremely pleased to have them on board".

Richard Egglestone, Managing Partner of Egglestones, is confident that the merger will provide the additional management and financial resources necessary to ensure that service to Egglestones' clients is maintained at the highest level. "With a combined turnover of £9m and a comprehensive range of specialist departments, the merger makes perfect sense for both firms and above all for our clients."

The move further strengthens Dutton Gregory’s stated commitment - "To be seen as one of the major private client and commercial law firms in south central England with a reputation for excellence in every department".
